Building a Stealth fire

Have you ever heard of the Dakota Fire Hole. This is pretty cool. I wish I would have thought of this when I was a child growing up while out experimenting in the outdoors. We would take our pup tents and walk down river’s beach and build a campfire and go fishing. We would even dig our own latrine! So of course we always brought one of those portable bending shovels with us.
You will probably want to bring one of those shovels with you. You won’t have to dig near as deep but you still need to do some digging.
